I am a recent graduate of Drexel University, where I graduated early with a BA in English in the spring of 2010. I've spent the last two years working as an actor and filmmaker in Washington, DC and New York City. I've kept tutoring through it all as I have had a passion for it since I picked up my first students in High School. I've tutored every conceivable type of student, from 2nd grade ESL students in West Philadelphia & Harlem to Catholic prep school student in McLean, VA writing college essays. I have had great success providing SAT prep to students preparing for the essay section of the SATs, where my personalized rubric, developed when I was studying for the test myself, yielded me a perfect essay score every time I took the test.

Despite my concentration on English I have also taught guitar lessons, video production, and drama. I am a Jersey boy at heart with a gregarious personality and patience. I never let my students get discouraged and always maintain a positive attitude. As cheesy as it may sound, learning can and should be fun, and I do my best to make sure it is.
