I received my first training as a tutor in two undergraduate courses which prepared me for my job as a general chemistry tutor at Rollins College, where I received my B.A. in chemistry and mathematics. As an undergraduate, I also worked at a tutoring center in Winter Park, FL. Most of my students were in high school or college, and I primarily tutored the physical sciences, mathematics, and test prep (SAT/ACT). I also tutor a number of AP courses. My AP scores from high school are as follows: AP Chemistry (5), AP Physics B (5), AP Macroeconomics (5), AP US History (5), AP Government (4), AP Language and Composition (5), AP Calculus BC (4).

Minored in mathematics at Rollins College. Tutored algebra consistently for three consecutive years.

I am an experienced and patient chess tutor. I teach international chess, Japanese chess (Shogi), and Chinese chess (Xiangqi). I own my own copies of each of these games and can bring them if students desire.

Organic Chemistry

I earned a BA in chemistry from Rollins College. I passed Organic I, Organic II, and Advanced Organic Chemistry. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Nanotechnology and Materials Chemistry at the City University of New York. I am enrolled in a graduate level organic chemistry course, meaning the material is fresh in my mind.
