My name is Charlie, and I have been working toward an MS in molecular and cell bio from Brandeis University for the past two years while concurrently working as a full time research professional in an academic lab focusing on electrophysiology, genetics
, and biochemistry
While an undergrad, I was heavily involved in the Brandeis University EMT squad, and devoted significant amounts of time to my sketch comedy troupe. I would consider my greatest skill as a teacher to be my ability to digest and explain complex information in simple, easy to understand ways. My oral and written communication skills are considerable, and help me greatly in that regard. Additionally, because of the many hours I have spent on stage, I have excellent oratorical capacities, and am well versed in a slew of presentation enhancing skills. I will break down my experiences below.Biology
1 year of graduate level academic coursework
2 years practical, hands on molecular biology experience
8 years of academic coursework beginning as a first year in High School.
Personal focus on epigenetics, genetic disease, gene therapy, and genetic medicine.
Advanced ability to work with and engage in literature
review and analysis
Personal focus on Islam and the West, The American Political system.
I am passionately interested in and up to date with both current politics and US politics over the course of the past several centuries.
Advanced Coursework includes: Liberal Political Thought, American Government, Political Science Methods, The American Presidency, Politics and Religion
in the West, Nuclear Proliferation and the Middle East.
