Affordable, Dedicated, Patient Math Tutor—Recent Grad. Comprehensive SAT Math Prep available for the summer starting now!

-Friends Seminary '09, Wesleyan University '13 major in Math & Psychology.
-Standardized testing experience in ERB's, ISEE's, PSAT's, SAT's, SAT II's, AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics (achieved 90-99 percentile on math portions of all exams, 5 on AP's)
-College coursework experience in Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Complex Analysis, Statistics, Computer Programming; High School coursework experience/areas of expertise: Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics

From homework help to exam preparation, I am equipped to assist students in all areas of Middle or High School Mathematics. For a reasonable rate, I offer dedication and commitment in helping students improve their mathematical abilities.

As a college math major, I know precisely what it's like to try and internalize a new topic or struggle through a complex problem. I understand what it takes to persevere in a math course, and I have the patience and communication skills to relay concepts to others in a clear and logical way. It's only been a few years since my own High School math classes, SAT's, SAT II's, and AP's, so I have reliable background knowledge of widely used curricula, as well as recent memory of mastering the material.

Whether a student is struggling in Algebra or Calculus, I will of course, always study the specific topic prior to an arranged meeting so I can be as useful as possible. Additionally, I provide free phone or online help to all of my students at any time. I guarantee that I can help struggling students become more proficient in any level of Middle or High School Mathematics, prepare for standardized tests, or maintain math skills over the summer. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any further questions.

SAT Math

SAT Math tutoring is my specialty and passion. I have three years experience teaching the test to a range of students, all of whom have seen dramatic improvements. I believe that practice makes perfect, and my approach involves assigning practice tests for homework before each session to use as a jumping-off point for mastering fundamental skills and building on weaknesses.
