I have a total of almost two decades experience teaching and tutoring students in ESL, Spanish and English at all levels from beginning to advanced, and all types of students from learning disabled public high school freshmen to Ivy League PhD candidates and adults no longer in school. I also have extensive background in the teaching and grading of the ACT reading and writing exams, the CUNY writing exam, and the New York State High School Regents in English and Spanish. I am currently using this expertise to expand to TOEFL and other test prep. I have taught at the City University of New York, the University of Pennsylvania, the New York City Department of Education, Berlitz, Inlingua and more.

I hold a Masters in Spanish from Penn and permanent New York State teaching licenses in ESL and Day High School Spanish. I also have professional writing experience in public relations, fundraising, textbook editing, and Spanish to English translation. I will use highly individualized and innovative methods derived from a diverse background in teaching, linguistics, theater, music, psychology, poetry and more to help you achieve your goals. If you are willing to put in the effort, what I can promise you is excellent results in the shortest period of time.
