While attending USC, I worked as a Graduate Student Employee in the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism for the Director of Master’s Programs; and developed/identified program outreach opportunities including recruitment strategies and events with local alumni. I attended trade association and networking events in Orange and Los Angeles. I also hosted information sessions, and interviewed with prospective students interested in applying to the graduate Master's programs at Annenberg. My education at the University of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communication included most recently includes a Master’s in Communication Management (Emphasis: Communications Law and Policy) in 2010. While an undergraduate in the Annenberg School for Journalism the Bachelors of Arts, Public Relations curriculum was rich in print/broadcast journalism, grammar – copy editing and writing as part of the degree requirements. My prior job duties included:
• Assisted writing copy and executing direct marketing / direct response marketing tactics for DirecTV.
• Coordinated press materials, production schedules and status reports between client and agency.
• Worked directly with Deutsch Advertising agency, network programmers, sports leagues, internal marketing, creative, brand and legal departments to write, secure and coordinate television and print media.
• Reviewed and edited marketing design and copy; and DirecTV television marketing with attention to detail, brand / legal and copyright restrictions, client logos and photography.
• Updated and / or revised marketing layout and content to satisfy internal policies, client requirements and media objectives, focusing on brand-specific promotions or corporate marketing strategies to acquire new customers and marketing space.

As part of my ongoing job responsibilities at AT&T/Cablevision Corporation and more recently while employed with Citigroup, Incorporated I managed multiple projects using all Office programs. Constant desktop support using Microsoft Windows required I be well-versed in general computer functions to assist senior and executive management on a daily basis. I created, led and oversaw quality of training deliverables for multiple departments following integration of new / updated software. Cross-training staff to comply with different policies and procedures, I carried out in-person classroom style instruction on how to leverage upgraded technologies and reporting tools in PeopleSoft Financials System across business lines (e.g., purchasing, financial planning and analysis, etc.). I created print training materials for different audiences (i.e., requisition creators; buyers; approvers, etc.), developed and led web-based interactive trainings using teleconference capabilities for divisions nationwide. Then, Q&A materials and end user assessment surveys were distributed to ensure quality of training deliverables.

SAT Writing

I excel at writing and SAT test preparation. I have journalistic qualifications as well as practical experience creating verbal presentations and doing freelance writing for hospitality clients.


I am a former lifeguard with previous training in first aid and CPR. I was on the varsity swim team at Wellesley High School in Massachusetts and still maintain a regular swim practice. I have assisted youth with beginner swim skills as part of my past work experience and feel I would make an excellent teacher today with more years of experience and a positive attitude.
