I am a retired IBM Engineer and Consultant, a former Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering and currently changed my career to teaching Math and Physics, two subjects that I love. I have a New York State License (Math: Grades 7 - 12) having taught for approximately 4 years in the NYC DOE. I am currently an Adjunct Professor in two Community Colleges, WCC, Valhalla, and BMCC, Downtown NYC, teaching remedial Math, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Statistics, etc. I tutor students for the SAT as well in Math and English.
My strength and policy is to emphasize on fundamental concepts and principles and apply the same for a thorough understanding and application of the subject matter. In my considerable experience as a student, teacher, and educator, I have found this approach to be invaluable in the learning process for a proper grasp of any subject or discipline and the best approach to be eminently successful in examinations as well.
