I graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2009 and just graduated from the Macaulay Honors Program at Hunter College in June of 2013. I have a B.A. in Biology as well as a B.A. with honors in English. I currently work as a Research Technician in a developmental biology laboratory at Weill Cornell Medical College. Therefore, due to the nature of my education and work, I have an in-depth understanding of the sciences as well as the English language.
I have tutored privately for many years and I have taught large classes in classrooms as well. I am well suited to teach in any situation and it is something that I have a passion for.
Being a student myself not too long ago, I am very well aware of the problems that befuddle students who try to tackle unfamiliar and sometimes overwhelming concepts. Thus, I can accurately diagnose the issues that afflict a student and can efficiently and effectively help him or her to master any topic that is encountered.
