My name is Arin and I'd love to be your tutor! Just so you can get to know me: I have a master's degree from Princeton Theological, which is the divinity school at Princeton. When I was there, I studied political anthropology, psychology, history, and philosophy, especially ethics and political economy. I've decided after completing Teach For America training, including over 50 student teaching hours, that I want to be a full-time writer, and so I've taken up tutoring to pay the bills! But I loved teaching while I was doing it. The kids were fantastic and funny, and I had an amazing time. I'm familiar with the standard lesson plan format and how to write a progressive curriculum.
In undergrad I studied English poetry, religion, and philosophy. I mastered English grammar while I was there, and because it was a liberal arts school, I am familiar with math and various sciences. I took nearly every English class offered, and I'm conversationally colloquial in Italian.
Please feel free to be in touch if you have any questions or if you'd like to schedule me to tutor!
