Hello and welcome to my page! I have a tremendous amount of experience tutoring, mentoring and coaching in al areas of writing including academic, scholarly, professional and creative writing. In undergraduate study at Columbia University, I majored in a science/humanistic/writing intensive field of study. Therefore I have first hand experience in successful college writing, writing for publication, thesis organization, writing and execution.

I have a creative and encouraging approach and I pride myself on my ability to face any challenge for my students- I have clients that range from third graders to business majors, to humanities majors to master's and PhD students working on rigorous theses/dissertations.

Vocabulary

I have many years of experience tutoring student of all ages for vocabulary acquisition and improvement. Vocabulary is perhaps the most important element of language, with scholars suggesting that it accounts for more in comprehension than other elements of language. Vocabulary is chiefly important at all levels of education and principally critical for all major standardized tests (SAT ACT GRE).
