I graduated cum laude from Boston College, received a 34 on my ACTs, a 2250 on my SATs, a 4.1 GPA in high school and I was commended on the PSATs! I have been volunteering in schools grades k-12 and tutoring in a variety of subjects for over five years.
I'm currently living in NYC, and I know that high school/middle school and even elementary school students have a TON of pressure these days not only to do well in school but to excel outside the classroom, and my philosophy is that you CAN have the best of both worlds! I intend to make learning easier for whomever I help and to enable each student to achieve higher grades as well as have more time for the things they love, because after working with me school will not be such a burden (and those extra-curriculars sure look good on college applications, let me tell you)!
I genuinely love being able to make learning a positive experience, because I know that it can sometimes be a struggle. I believe that every student is capable of achieving academic success, and I know that I can lead you there!
Hope to hear from you!
