My name is Ayelet, and I am an experienced math and science tutor and teacher. I have been tutoring for more than 8 years, and I have helped many students to succeed in all levels of math and physics.

I graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering Physics and decided to become a teacher. I went on to get my Masters in Adolescent Mathematics Education from Hunter College. Now I teach high school physics.

I believe people learn by doing, and whether I am teaching in the classroom, or tutoring one-on-one, I focus on practicing concepts to build confidence and understanding.

Differential Equations

I am qualified to teach differential equations - I was required to take an in depth college course in differential equations as part of my engineering physics degree, and then, when I took higher level physics and electrical engineering courses, as part of my undergraduate degree, I constantly used what I had learned in my differential equations class. This background has given me both an in depth understanding of the subject, and an appreciation for its real world applications.

Linear Algebra

I am qualified to teach linear algebra - I was required to take an in depth college course in linear algebra as part of my engineering physics degree, and then, when I learned quantum mechanics, as part of my undergraduate degree, I constantly used what I had learned in my linear algebra class. This background has given me both an in depth understanding of the subject, and an appreciation for its real world applications.

How do I receive a discount?

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
