Tina always comes prepared with lesson plans, yet is flexible in her strategy depending on my needs or questions for the session. She is very patient and is always willing to re-explain subjects that I find complex or confusing. She has made an effort to best address my specific style of learning which comes from more of an engineering/kinesthetic background. The homework she gives me always helps me understand the concepts of the material, and the way she asks me to do them (such as grids and comparison charts) act as good references when facing more complex ideas, as I can refer back to them. No matter what the subject is, she is always able to give great analogies or real world examples that allow me to conceptualize the specifics of a topic. I also love the fact she will engage in my tangential questions and provide me with background information about the material, as long as it does not stray too far from what we are focusing on. How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
