Creative, Energetic Tutor in Writing, Applications and More

I am a current Columbia University MFA Screenwriting student, but I also have a degree in Broadcast Journalism, 5+ years experience working with children and young adults of all ages as sports and fitness counselor, football instructor, and life skills coach. I am a former Americorps member, a YMCA mentor and I have also worked as a teambuilding specialist, football trainer and ropes course facilitator for Harlem Children's Zone. I currently serve as a Columbia Admissions Fellow. I have led several filmmaking workshops for elementary, high school and undergraduate students.

Through my academic study and work with the New York Times, The Academy of TV Arts and Sciences, CBS and others I have gathered excellent skills proofreading for applications and admissions essays and academic essays. I am offering creative tutoring in script revision, narrative filmmaking -- screenwriting and directing, basic nonlinear film editing (Final Cut Pro), football skills and public speaking/group engagement.
