I have been working in Finance (both as a researcher and trader) since 2005.
I went to the German High School in Bucharest (German being my 2nd native language), undergrad in EE at the Polytechnic University, Bucharest, and grad school at Cambridge University (Economics) and Stanford University (Math Finance, Electrical Eng).
I spent most of my last 12 years doing research in quantitative finance. I have also been a TA at Stanford teaching classes in finance, economics and physics. However I also been helping students on an individual basis as well (teaching both science subjects as well as foreign languages: German & French)
I have experience in helping both high-school and undergrad/grad students that need a bit more help. I'm ready to help with subjects in the areas of mathematics (calculus, algebra, geometry, diff equations), finance (e.g. valuation, securities, trading, derivatives), economics (e.g. micro or macro), statistics and quantitative modeling.
Given my work experience in the hedge fund business, I am also providing consulting on areas related to trading, risk management, quantitative/systematic strategies, fixed income and derivatives.
