I am primarily a writer, and thus English Literature and Language are my strongest skills.
As a graduate of the Cambridge University Program in Advanced Level Literature and as a published author, I am keen to help teach students both literary analysis and appreciation as well as criticism. I am a passionate writer who loves to read the classics, but also understand the nuances in the changes of modern and post-modern novels, poetry and dramas.
I was also a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music Program in London and concentrated on the Piano as my instrument of interest.
I've also graduated from the Cambridge University program in Advanced Level World History, and I'm more fascinated with modern history from the 1900's to the 1990's. I have studied Modern European and American History at length as well as Ancient History with concentrations in Ancient China, Ancient Greece and Rome, Ancient India and Ancient Egypt.
I like to harness a student's interest and direct them through the interest so that they can not only understand, but also absorb and internalize what they learn. I'm also good at generating interest by first assessing the student's own way of learning, whether it's through visuals, texts, or sounds, and use a mixture of these methods so that the student has grasped what they need to for their class work.
