My most important goal is to be able to make a difference in people's lives. I lived in England, Japan and New York since I was little, and adjusting to new schools with different languages was never an easy process. It took a lot of tutoring sessions and support to get to where I am today. As I have been a student to various tutors, I believe I have a good understanding of how tutors should cater to each student's needs. In addition, a tutor is not a simple private teacher. He or she is a mentor who should be able to keep students motivated.
I was a camp counselor to kindergarteners during high school and have taught English to Japanese children, who just came abroad. I also am a mentor to students who attends Boston University.
