I graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a BA in English and French, and I received a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. I worked for four years as a corporate lawyer before pursuing a career as a writer. My new schedule has allowed me the flexibility to get back to working with students, something I have always loved. I bring a fun, energetic attitude to the classroom and love to approach lessons from a variety of angles to find the one that resonates best with the student.
My areas of specialty are English, reading comprehension, writing, grammar, college essays, SAT, all humanities courses and any elementary-level coursework.
I have volunteered in after-school programs and work with children regularly. I am an improv comedy teacher, so know how to teach adults in a fun and productive environment. I am both patient and task-oriented.
Let’s have fun learning together!
