I am a recent graduate and native Manhattanite pursuing acting and writing in the city. I attended private elementary school on the Upper East Side in addition to a well rounded boarding school in Connecticut for four years of high school. For five consecutive summers, I worked at an outdoor sports camp as a sailing instructor, first aid director, and as alternate director of the camp in my final year there. Since then, I have been active working in the entertainment world as an assistant to an legit agent and casting assistant while producing my own self written play and auditioning for film and television.
I would love the opportunity to take on a student in need of some extra help in writing and grammar. Growing up I faced difficulties with these skills but learned ways to overcome and master these crucial traits. Teaching younger individuals helped me to get over some of these drawbacks when I was a preteens and has consistently helped me since. I am now an avid reader and writer.
In the coming months, I hope to strengthen my writing skills by working on two short film scripts and producing and directing another play. For this reason, I also look forward to any students with a creative thinking in public speaking or free writing. Developing a creative side to writing while in elementary and high school education is essential for a well rounded individual.
