English
I majored in English at Wesleyan University, with a concentration in both British and American Literature. In my senior year, I completed a senior thesis entitled, "The Disappearing Village: Anderson, Glaspell, and the Modern American Landscape." The thesis received honors.
Grammar
I graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in English. At Wesleyan, I worked as a Writing Tutor for three years helping students edit their papers. After graduating college, I continued working as a writing tutor for Ashford University and Smarthinking. In all of these experiences, I have worked with students on grammar and proofreading.
Literature

As a tutor for Wesleyan University, Ashford University, and Smarthinking, I have worked with students on their English assignments, including helping them with their reading and analyzing literary works.
SAT Writing
I graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in English. At Wesleyan, I worked as a Writing Tutor for three years helping students edit their papers. After graduating college, I continued working as a writing tutor for Ashford University and Smarthinking. Through these experiences, I have tutored students on the grammar and essay writing strategies that are needed to perform well on the SAT Writing section.
Theatre
I am an NYC based playwright. My full length play, "Pine," has recently won the Trustus Playwrights' Festival and will receive a professional production in August 2013. "Pine" is also currently a finalist for the Mountain Playhouse Comedy Contest. Another full-length play of mine, "In Their Glory," has been performed as part of Alumnae Theater's New Ideas Festival. It will also receive a staged reading by the Truffle Theater Company in August 2012. In high school, a one act version of the play won the Scholastic Art and Writing Gold Medal for Best Drama. My one act play, "The Brink" (50 minutes) has been produced in the Midwinter Madness Festival and by Manhattan Repertory Theater in NYC. Two of my ten minute plays, "Recalculating" and "Lost Satellites" have been previously produced as well. "Recalculating"has been produced by the Playwrights' Round Table in Florida, in the Short + Sweet Festival in Sydney, and by the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, NY. It has an upcoming production by the Silver Spring Stage this August. "Lost Satellites" has been produced as part of Manhattan Repertory Theater's One Act Play Competition this past spring. A third 10 minute play, "Sets" will receive a production by the Secret Theatre in Long Island City this August. I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2010 with a BA in English.
