Veronica has taught Portuguese to corporate clients, United Nations consultants, academics, and celebrities for over twenty years in the United States, Brazil and France. Harnessing her extensive expertise in Brazilian culture, she has also worked as an interpreter, research consultant and cultural guide to introduce foreigners to the joys of Brazilian dance, music and cuisine. The professor is renowned for her ability to personalize her pedagogical strategy to the needs of her students and for her vivacious, fun teaching style. She received her BA from the Catholic University of Salvador, Bahia and currently studies fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
