Hello,
French is my first language. I grew up in Quebec and in the French West Indies where I went to the Lycée Français Alexandre Dumas. I taught myself English by watching television programs in English and by reading as much as possible. I was fortunate to receive a bilingual education by enrolling in an English Speaking College.
When I am teaching, I like to adapt to the student as some are more visual and others respond best to direct application. French is one of the most beautiful languages in the world but learning it can be challenging. I won't make it intimidating. I am patient and I make sure the students are enjoying themselves and engaged in the lessons as that is the ideal learning environment.
My goal is to have my students use French like it was their first language.
