Hey there! My name is Ariel, I am a Photography major, and I am interested in tutoring anybody who needs help or further knowledge with any of the topics I have concluded. My main specialty in programs I teach would be Adobe Photoshop CS4 or CS5, Adobe Bridges, or Lightroom. Anyone who interested, want to expand their knowledge, or simply learn more in improving their skills in digital photography or film is more than welcome in contacting me. I am patient and determined to answer any question or concern that one might have. All ages accepted.
For either film/digital photography, I will teach the fundamentals of modern photographic practices including technical aspects, aesthetic camera operations, and simple lighting techniques. An understanding of correct exposure, light metering and measurement (incident and reflective), film processing and developing, printing techniques, contrast control, and photographic chemistry can be taught for film as well as a basic understanding of 35mm cameras and medium format cameras and films. An exploration of color can be taught as it applies to photography, color harmony and mixing, lighting for color, light balancing, color correction, and film/digital color reproduction techniques. Introductory knowledge to with the basics of photography of visual, aesthetic, and technical viewpoints can be taught. Preferred if students have their own DSLR or film camera.
For Adobe Photoshop, Bridges, and/or Lightroom will be preferrably done on a Mac. Methods and management techniques in scanning, creations of selections and layers, color correction, and basic image manipulation can be studied. Will develop an advanced knowledge of layers, channels, curves, image merging, scanning devices, file formats, and resolution levels are and can be explored.
For elementary school education, I will be teaching any child who needs extra help or support in reading, grammar, studying techniques, and/or vocabulary.
