I can provide individual tutoring to students in a variety of subjects, and assist students with a sound plan that is effective in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Other assistance might include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, predicting the text, predicting questions, formulating ideas for papers, or working on solutions to problems. Tutoring is supplemental to classroom teaching. I have the remarkable ability to stimulate students and add personality to the material focusing on cutting edge teaching methods and technology to help my students grasp the concepts and information to find the solutions. I teach exceptionally well and care about the level of understanding of each student. I have 10 years' experience tutoring students preparing for the GED and SAT examinations and privately tutored several students in my residence in literature, English and science courses. I graduated from Purdue University matriculating with my master's degree in public health.
