Certified as a Special Needs Teacher, Coach for the beginning painter

As an experienced and competent teacher, I love tutoring on a one–to-one basis and seeing a student glow because he or she is grasping the material. As an enthusiastic instructor, my goal is to motivate each student to succeed academically for today as well as the future.

I hold New York State Permanent Certification in English in addition to a New Jersey Special Education License as a Teacher of the Handicapped. My teaching experience expands from pre-school through law school, and I hold a Juris Doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Law. I have had over 12 years of experience as a classroom English teacher and 8 years as a teacher of the handicapped.

ACT English

I am qualified to teach ACT English because I am certified in English. I have taught and tutored students in English for over 12 years. Preparing students for exams such as ACT exams has been my forte. You will be very happy if you select me.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am qualified to tutor grades K-6, first of all, because I am a certified teacher in both New York and New Jersey. My areas of certification are General Education, English and Special Education. For over three years I have been a substitute teacher for all grades K-12. For over 12 years, I have been a teacher of reading, English, and special education. My forte is tutoring, one-to-one. I care about teaching the "whole" child - and motivating each child to learn.
