Background:
I have a Bachelor's in Biology from Hunter College. I graduated with honors in my major, and I have done extensive research in Genetics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I have excelled in science courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biology. I have even extended my studies to graduate classes in Biology during my undergraduate career. In my senior year I tutored for two programs, in which I worked with students individually and in a group setting.
Objective:
I want my students to have a complete understanding of the intricacies in Biology. I will make the learning experience interesting by relating the material through analogies or experiences they have in everyday life. It will be different then most tutoring because it will take a more interactive approach instead of burdening students with numerous amounts of tedious material. I am also available to tutor in other areas of science such as Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and numerous topics in Biology.
