My name is Liubov. I am currently teaching German and Russian at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Linguistics is my passion. I speak English, German, and Russian fluently. I was born in Russia. As someone who has grown up in Europe, I have a deep and broad insight and understanding of American-European relations. I'm zealous about teaching foreign languages. I have worked as a language instructor before. I have created lesson plans. I have worked with students in large (15-22 students) and small groups (3 to 5 students). I have helped my students develop their basic reading and writing skills in foreign language. I have assisted students in improving their academic level by explaining difficult subjects, helping them with homework and preparing them for exams and presentations. I have also translated many documents of various content in English, German, and Russian.
I strongly believe that my background and education has prepared me to be a language tutor, whether it's German, Russian, or English. I want to share my passion for foreign languages with others. I find that it is such a great joy to hear students use new words and see them break through inhibitions as they try out a new language.
I'm looking forward to helping you acquire foreign language.
