Hello,

I am an experienced teacher of English as a second language. I have full capability communicating in Spanish, and explaining elements of grammar, idioms, phrasal verbs, all of the hard parts of language learning.

I have lived in Bogota, Colombia since 2003, and worked for a language institute for 5 of those years. When I was in Australia, I taught Colombians who I had I met through university contacts. My students have mostly been executives and the professionally employed with high-end jobs. I have taught people in McCain Foods, Price Waterhouse Cooper, Unilever, Ecopetrol and other petroleum companies in Colombia.

My methodology depends on the student's requirements. For basic to intermediate levels, I teach from a book. For upper-intermediate to advanced levels, or conversation practice, I use a combination of books and material that I own. And I have a lot of additional teaching material for all levels. Music, lyrics, movies.

I implement effective education that is also impactive.

I can travel to any location within 15 miles of Midtown Manhattan.

My best achievement was helping a married couple develop their English in a short time ( 10 weeks) to assist with the acceptance of their Canadian Visa. They are still living in Ontario with their son now.
