I hold a Master's degree from Teachers College Columbia University and I am a certified elementary school teacher in both general and special education. I have worked as math teacher for students with disabilities and as an academic interventionist in a small group setting as well as private tutoring. I specialize in helping students to overcome their fears about math and making it tangible, accessible, and fun. I believe in helping struggling students develop strategies for breaking down information into smaller, more digestible pieces, and in providing novel opportunities for students to apply their knowledge to their lives and to the real world. I hold a Masters Degree in Childhood Education. I am currently a math teacher in a high school setting for learners working at the elementary school level. My specialty is working with students who are struggling in elementary level math and helping them to develop strategies, problem solving skills, and confidence for success.

I assist students with identifying what tasks need to be done, and help them to develop tangible schedules and goals to minimize the stress that is often associated with homework and maximize productivity and self-confidence.
