I am an art instructor based in New York/New Jersey.
My studies took place at Rutgers University, the New York Art Academy, the National Academy of Design, the New School, and L'ecole Albert Defois in Vihiers, France. I have exhibited my work in galleries nationwide.
I have worked with all age groups, from children to seniors. I can offer you a positive style that emphasizes the more enjoyable aspects of the challenges involved in making art without ignoring the creative and technical ones. I am well versed in a wide variety of media and am equipped with a large repertoire of effective teaching exercises. Finally, I have a true love of the profession, and derive a great deal of satisfaction from watching the artistic development of my students.
I have many time-tested exercises at my disposal that give you the ability to draw what you see. The individual attention you will receive is highly personalized, and overall more cost-effective than a classroom situation. Packages are available; you can pair up with another student to make your lessons even more affordable. Study in the privacy of your own home OR at my attractive, comfortable studio (in Weehawken, NJ, just across the Hudson from Manhattan). Any questions? Feel free to contact me!
