Hello! My name is Lindsey. I am currently a junior at NYU, studying Media and Communications. I am able to tutor your child in a variety of areas, and I look forward to meeting with you soon. I have tutored for many years in high school, and I'm looking to do the same in college. My philosophy is to break everything into smaller pieces, and build up the larger picture. I like to see how the student studies and how they learn best. It's also of high priority to me that the parents are aware of the child's progress, but parents are key to the student's success. I am big on outlines and flashcards, as well as visuals. While the computer may be seen as a distraction, it's also a great study tool. In the past, I have used PowerPoint and YouTube as a way for the student to visualize what we're talking. Flexible with scheduling.
