I have been teaching for over 25 years and tutoring since 1992. Currently, I teach Composition and Literature at the college level and tutor college-level as well as pre-collegiate level mathematics. Students and parents often have articulated that I render the material palatable. Students who have received instruction from me with respect to Regents Math Course I and Course II have received at least a B-grade equivalent--85 or 86-- on the respective examinations.

I have a solid background in educational management, with strong emphasis in mathematics, science, technology, ethics, character education, change management via learning and knowledge management, leadership training and program optimization. I consistently exceeded program goals and client expectations and am experienced in social communication especially as relates to diversity and diversity management, and issues in cross-cultural communication and cultural competence. I also am skilled in designing, developing and implementing curricular frameworks, standardized policies, procedures and assessments in the education arena.

Algebra 1

Greetings!

The students in my private practice and their parents have described me as being patient and miraculous. I am able to present the concepts in such a way that students get no matter
the learning style. When I worked in the DOE as a teacher, my sixth grade students who sat for the Grade Nine Regents passed with high 90's.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am certified in New York State (N-6). Currently, I teach at the college level and have a private practice where I focus on mathematics and writing. In the summer, I offer targeted five-week interdisciplinary workshops for elementary and middle school students.

The focal point of my work with elementary and middle school students is applied learning. Students learn concepts by application and creation.

Regents

I hold a NYS Permanent Certification. I have taught high-school level mathematics for over twenty years. While at the DOE, I prepped Grade 6 students for the 9th Grade Regents.
