I have a degree summa cum laude from Boston University in journalism and economics and an MBA from the University of Chicago in marketing and finance. During the week, I run a branding and marketing company in New York City. I have tutored both of my sons since they were very young. My oldest will go to Bates College in September on the strength of his good grades. My youngest, a sophomore, has also become an exceptional student.
My belief is that English, grammar and presentation skills are fundamental to academic and business success. Achieving mastery in these areas requires the type of one-on-one instruction that is not available in the classroom. My experience, patience and skills can make all the difference for your child. I also can help your child become more organized, which will result in improved performance in other subjects as well.
Because my children have become so self-sufficient, I have more time on my hands than I used to. I like working with young children and would welcome the opportunity to tutor yours. I am available most evenings and on the weekends.
