I am currently a University Professor with over 10 years teaching experience as well as a substitute teacher and tutor for a prestigious all girls school in Manhattan. I have taught grades 6-12, been trained and teach writing enhanced classes on the University level and have been certified to teach on-line and formerly certified to teach grades 6-12 by New York State. I love the opprotunity to work with students to improve, not only their performance, but more importantly their understanding. I have extensive experience analyzing a student's strengths and weaknesses, developing a customized plan to meet the students academic needs by improving their study habits, reading comprehension, writing and note-taking skills.
