I have a Master's degree in Education and a BA in Elementary Education. I have an extensive teaching background with a diverse student range from preschool children to teens, and young adults to senior citizens. Therefore, I am very creative and strive to make the experience fit the student's method of learning. I use a very interesting test taking focusing technique which has been extremely beneficial in supporting my students with the confidence, relaxed nerves, and brain power to pass the GED Exam. I have taught preparation for the GED Exam for City College Adult Education Courses, Harlem Works Job Training Program, and The Doe Fund. I use the approach of exploring the test makers thinking approach to understand the strategy of answering the questions in order to arrive at the correct answer. I teach all aspects of the GED Exam, but focus strongly on the writing skills, especially essay writing. Reading comprehension and logic are incorporated in all aspects and components of preparing for the GED Exam.
I like to enjoy the experience and pride myself on the success of my students passing with proud scores. I am a motivator who stimulates and empowers the best of "you" to get you where you need to be in your life. My aim is to meet your goal of passing the GED Exam, but you will get much more from my course that will assist you in many aspects of your life.
I am a mature organized professional who has taught in many venues which included those who were very difficult to teach and thought they could never pass this test. However, they did.
