Julie Hill is a professional musician in New York with 6 years of tutoring experience. She was ranked 15/ 406 at one of the most academically competitive high schools in the country with an unweighted GPA of 3.98 and was one of few AP Scholars in the nation to pass both her AP Calculus AB and BC exams AS WELL AS her AP Music Theory exam with flying colors. After high school, her Math SAT score of 760/800 and essay skills earned her a spot at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business. Currently, she is pursuing her passion for creativity instead of business, and she can be found performing at NYC venues such as the Knitting Factory, the Living Room, and Sidewalk Cafe.
As a tutor, Julie caters to each student individually. She understands how to teach students of distinct learning styles and contribute to their success in the classroom.
