If you're looking for somebody to either help you catch up in math, or get ahead in math, I'm your guy. I was a math major at Washington University in St. Louis, and minored in German, economics, and writing. While there, I tutored students in everything from counting to calculus, and beyond. I then earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Bard College in '07. I've been tutoring for 8+ years, with students between the ages of 6 and 66, with a focus on the high school student and the high school curriculum. I have also been an adjunct professor at the College of New Rochelle, Rosa Parks Campus. As for teaching style, I feel that the concept drives the skill. If you have the idea of what to do on a problem, you do not need to complete 10 similar problems. As such, I like to spend more time on the why than the what. If you choose me as your tutor, your math skills will improve. What more could you ask for?
