I have been a certified educator for the past four years and have had 8 years of teaching experience. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years and my students' grades have significantly improved. One of my students was accepted into a preparatory high school this year with a scholarship.
My method of instruction is engaging and interactive. I have my own leveled library for students, I bring my iPad and I have educational games for those times where students need a break. When my students are reading a book, I read the same book so that I can engage them in a book discussion rather than having them write a standard book report. They then select an essay question and are able to formulate a coherent essay. Students need to understand the material and be able to explain things not just memorize.
