I am a professional math teacher and tutor with proven results. I am a licensed and active teacher, currently teaching math in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The majority of my SAT students have improved scores by over 20%, a statistic which is over double the national average results of SAT tutors. I have expertise in all levels of math from SAT, Integrated Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calc AB and BC, and college calculus. Algebra 1

Juan has been a teacher of various levels of math and physics for more than ten years. He has received his Bachelor's and Master's in math and a Master's in math education. Juan's results include over 20% improvement in scores for most students.

Algebra 2

Juan has experience teaching and tutoring Algebra 2 at both basic and high levels. Juan has tutored both regular education and special education students in Algebra 2 with 20% or better improvement in test scores.

Calculus

Juan has a master's degree in mathematics with over 100 undergraduate and graduate math course credits. He has tutored math at the college and high school level with 20% or better improvement in scores. He has also tutored both regular education and special education students.

Geometry

Juan is a math teacher at Lyons Community School in Williamsburg. He is currently teaching both lower level geometry and an advanced geometry. Juan has been tutoring at various levels of education and has shown a consistent record of improvement of between 10% and 20% on standardized tests. When he took the GRE test, he scored an 800 on the math portion, and his studies show that he has mastered all areas of math required for the GRE.

Probability

Juan has a Masters degree in mathematics, and received a 99 on the high school regents that contained geometry. Juan also got a 1200/1200 in his college probability course. Juan has been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years at various levels and with tremendous success, and is very comfortable with probability.

ACT Math

I tutor for the ACT test, with special focus on the math and science section but with great strategies and skills for the verbal and writing sections. I have found a great deal of success in tutoring for the ACT. Every student I have tutored after taking the ACT once has found a 10% or better improvement in their scores, with a majority improving by over 15%.

Differential Equations

I have a master's degree in math. I have taken ODEs, PDEs, boundary value problems, and differential geometry. I have also tutored for ODEs and PDEs successfully.

Regents

I tutor for every math Regents, as well as for physics and chemistry. I have gotten improvement in students that are higher than the 5% improvement national average. FYI, "REGENTS" tutoring is too generic, as there are many, many regents in a wide variety of subjects.
