I have been a lucky educator for over 20 years at various levels from middle school to business school and college. I say "lucky" because I feel fortunate to have done something I absolutely love to do for so long. I have taught English composition, business law, career planning, resume and cover letter preparation, interview preparation, essay writing, legal and medical terminology, basic math and algebra, research methods, business/medical/legal ethics, psychology, counseling, personal statement preparation, standardized test essay preparation, customer service, contract law, public speaking, SAT verbal and writing, GRE verbal and writing, LSAT verbal and writing, and ESL to thousands of students over the years.
I believe that teaching is an art, and that teachers should be able to make learning fun, interesting and dare I say even exciting. A truly good teacher is a facilitator, planting the seeds of self-confidence and ambition in the student, and is a partner in learning. Good teachers are invested in their students' success and achievement and teach their students to look forward to achieving results beyond their wildest dreams. I like to use a variety of teaching methods. My favorite subjects to teach are writing in all forms, public speaking, career and school major choice, resume and cover letter preparation, interview preparation, and LSAT preparation. Whoever you choose for your tutoring needs, I wish you all the best and congratulate you on your efforts to improve yourself and reach your goals.
