I am a certified NY teacher who currently teaches Kindergarten to 4th grade Spanish at a private school. I am energetic and creative. I can and truly enjoy teaching with songs, dances, and through acting. It is easy for me to explain and help memorize vocabulary through word associations. I have studied in Spain, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. I have traveled to Mexico, Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Thus, I am able to differentiate speaking styles and vocabulary, and cultural aspects. I love to teach and I am very passionate about the subject matter. While being empathetic, I am able to identify and solve problems due to my own experiences learning Spanish. A prior student used to dislike Spanish until we started working together. He has excelled in his Spanish class and he is considering taking Honors Spanish in high school.
