I have experience working with students who have reading and writing difficulties. Programs I utilize are Fundations, Wilsons, Words Their way, Month by Month, Fountas and Pinnell, and Guided Reading. I have used various mathematics programs such as Everyday Mathematics, Investigations, Math Focus, and Touch Math. I can create lessons for your child and help them understand difficult math concepts. I can also teach students with organizational and focus difficulties. I can help students create schedules and manage their work. I can also help with focus prompts and study skills. I will tutor you child in math, reading, writing, basic study skills grades 1-6. I have experience with elementary science and social studies curriculum as well. I have many graphic organizers and study strategies that will benefit your child. I work in a NYC school so I am experienced in many areas.
