Zhe is a China native and graduate from Middlebury College who studied three languages in college, studied abroad in France and fully appreciates the learning experience of foreign languages. She is experienced in tutoring and loves working with children.
Born and raised in Tianjin, China (30-minute train ride from Beijing), Zhe is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and graduated from the top high school from the city of more than 10 million people. While in college, Zhe undertook studies of French language for four years along with her Economics degree, and became well versed in many innovative teaching methods through her completion of the summer language schools at Middlebury. Since then, Zhe has tutored college students and k-8 children alike.
Passionate about languages, Zhe made her transition to a language-related career after a number of years working in the corporate world, and became the first contracted freelance translator for a top global investment bank. Zhe enjoys tutoring Chinese and English, learning new languages, and especially working with children.
