I recently moved from Moscow to New York where I was an ESL coordinator at an international high school. I have taught children privately and in school settings for many years. I am experienced in exam preparation for TOEFL, IELTS and similar exams. I speak Russian fluently, but I am also experienced in teaching children with limited English of any background.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. I have a TEFL certificate from Cambridge University. I have over 15 years of ESL experience teaching children and adults. I have taught in a high school setting as well as in companies. I am a specialist in teaching business writing and have designed my own courses for use in multinational companies.

European History

I have a B.A. in History from Illinois State University and specialized in Greek, Roman, and medieval history as well as Russian history. I have lived in Russia and France. I taught history for two years at British International School in Moscow.
