I have a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John's University in Physics, which required a heavy concentration on mathematics, including University Calculus I, II,and III, and Differential Equations. In this undertaking, I attained an overall GPA index of 3.47. Since graduating St. John's, I have been tutoring mathematics for a major educational firm, from Middle School grades through Pre-Calculus, and have had successful results from my students. I am also familiar with the New York Regents requirements, having attended The Bronx High School of Science, from which I graduated in 2009. I am patient, thorough, and resourceful, and will find many ways of explaining concepts in math and physics so that my my students gain a good understanding of the work, thereby achieving success.
Algebra 2
I graduated from St. John's University, where I attained a Bachelor of Science degree with a GPA of 3.47. I had previously graduated from The Bronx High School of Science, in 2009, so I am very familiar with the content and requirements of Algebra II in New York. Majoring in Physics in college, I was required a to take a heavy cncentration of courses in Mathematics, including University Calculus I, II, III, as well as Differential Equations. My skills in Mathematics have given me the expertise to tutor math for a major educational firm, from Middle School grades through Pre-Calculus, and I have been successful in this endeavor. I am patient and caring, and will provide a good learning construct for the student.
Calculus
I am a graduate of St. John's University, where I attained a Bachlor of Science degree in Physics, with an overall GPA of 3.47. Intrinsic to this major was a high concentration in mathematics, in which I achieved success in University Calculus I, University Calculus II, University Calculus III, and Differential Equations. Majoring in Physics afforded me the advantage of applying these University Calculus concepts to advanced areas of Physics. I am also working for a major educational firm where I have successfully been tutoring Pre-Calculus. I will use my expertise in Calculus and my experience in tutoring to provide a rewarding learning experience for my students.
Elementary Math
