Greetings,

I bring a wealth of diverse academic and industry experience as a statistician/mathematician, which has been a great value to good number of clients. I have spent part of my entire career life helping others on how to solve statistics, financial, mathematics and programming problems. This was due to my passion and expertise in analytic ( quantitative and qualitative) as was confirmed by my clients. My clients span from high-school to college statistics students including other degrees (B.Sc., M.Sc., M.B.A, M.S.N., PhD, etc.); business, nursing, psychology and engineering. I also consult for professionals from different industries on their office projects and programming languages.

My quest for more knowledge took me back to school where I obtained a master's degree in statistics, thus adding to my proficiency in the subject matter (statistics, finance, programming and mathematics). As a statistician, I keep pace with academic trends through seminars and conferences, to some of which I have presented papers/studies. I am also adept at using technology to teach so to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

My methods of teaching are simple, depending on the method suitable. I always adapt measures, such as introducing multiple examples so to give a clearer picture of my teaching. At the same time, run multiple tests immediately after each lecture and, in the end give go-home assignments which must be submitted within the time frame.

I would welcome new opportunities from interested clients to discuss my contribution I can make to them as their new tutor. It is my wish that clients should avoid being tutored a day to their test, but at least give a time frame of a week or more before their test. Analytic subjects are very broad and requires time for one to understand the concepts.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Actuarial Science

I have Masters and bachelors in statistics. These degrees have related concepts with Actuarial Science which deals on mainly calculations of investments, risk management.

Algebra 2

This course is designed to build on algebraic and geometric concepts. It develops advanced algebra skills such as systems of equations, advanced polynomials, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratics, and concepts and includes the study of trigonometric functions. It also introduces matrices and their properties. The content of this course are important for students’ success on both the ACT and college mathematics entrance exams. Students who complete Algebra II should take Pre-Calculus next.

Biostatistics

I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees all in statistics, which involve manipulation and interpretation of data. My knowledge in Biostatistics made my mastering statistics much easier. The course, in conjunction with others, was part of my thesis reports as well as in other projects. I have done projects pertaining to Biostatistics where I was part of a research team who carried out a cohort study, observational study, clinical trials and other medical related studies. We also applied some statistical principles to arrive at our results. We used analyses such as Anova, t-test, Chi-square test, logistic, etc. in my previous projects. As you are aware I have been teaching my students (as viewed in my profile) in these areas using other tools like SPSS, JMulti, etc. I would welcome any test to check my capability on this course. Please do consider my application so I can exercise my expertise for my aspiring clients.

C

C code continues to be a better tool in manipulation and interpretation of data. Part of my previous research in data structure was executed in C while in school during my Bachelors and Masters classes in Statistics. The use of C as a platform in my previous and current projects turned out to be an efficient tool in analysis and reporting. It also made statistical methods including Anova, t-test, Chi-square test, logistic, etc. easier in application.

C++

My experience as a Statistician with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in statistics, which involve manipulation and interpretation of data sets, has widened my scope in algorithm generating tools. I have successfully compiled and tested the c++ program in my previous projects. In my previous analysis , I generated source code for Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis using C++. I have been teaching my students (as viewed in my profile) using other programming codes in SAS, SPSS, MATLAB etc.

Calculus

I can help on differencials, integrals, rate of change etc.

Econometrics

I have Masters and bachelors in statistics. These degrees have related concepts with Econometrics which deals mainly on linear regression, correlations of variables of economic matters.

Geometry

Geometry is designed to emphasize the study of the properties and applications of common geometric figures in two and three dimensions. It includes the study of transformations and right triangle trigonometry. Inductive and deductive thinking skills are used in problem solving situations, and applications to the real world are stressed. It also emphasizes writing proofs to solve (prove) properties of geometric figures. Students who complete Geometry should take Algebra II next.

Linux

My proficiency in manipulation and interpretation of data was due to my knowledge in Linux. The use of Linux as a platform in my previous and current projects during my master's classes in statistics turned out to be an efficient tool in analysis and reporting. It also made statistical methods including Anova, t-test, Chi-square test, logistic, etc easier in application.
