As an aspiring high school chemistry teacher, I feel that I have a great understanding in the ideas and concepts of general chemistry. I have taken courses in general and organic chemistry, and am currently taking quantitative chemical analysis and biochemistry. I was originally a pre-pharm student, so I do have some background in biology, so I could also lend a hand in that department (having taken general bio and microbiology). I am also proficient in math (A+ in calculus, good with algebra), and I am really open to attempt to lend a hand with anything.
I do not have too much experience as a tutor (one previous effort, which I heard worked out well for the student), but I am always offering to lend a hand with fellow classmates if they are stuck, and have helped several of my peers increase their understandings of the concepts. I still have my general chemistry textbook, so I can brush up on something prior to any sessions.
