I am currently an Adjunct Professor of Physics at SUNY-Farmingdale State College. I have taught at Hofstra University, Nassau County Community College and Polytechnic Institute at NYU. I am working with the United Way of Long Island to teach Robotics to middle school students in Westbury and Freeport. I am a member of the Long Island STEM Diversity Roundtable located at SUNY-Farmingdale. For more than 35 years, I was a System Engineer at technology companies on Long Island. I have held positions at Sperry/Loral/Lockheed Martin/Northrup-Grumman Corporations (Aerospace/Defense Systems) and at Dunn Engineering Associates (traffic and transportation).

Algebra 1

As an Adjunct Professor in Physics and qualified instructor in STEM subjects, I have a working knowledge of Algebra and Calculus.

Algebra 2

Algebra is a subject that needs to be learned as a precursor to other math and physics areas. My knowledge of Physics and the related math topics including Algebra, Trig, or Calculus is complete. I have tutored all levels of these subjects.

I am completely familiar with the concepts of geometry from my experience with teaching AP Physics and college physics courses.

I am proficient in all topics of a full year college level Physics curriculum. The course may include use of intermediate algebra, trigonometry and calculus. Topics include vectors, Kinematics, Newton's Laws, Equilibrium, Gravity, Energy, Momentum, Rotational motion, Harmonic motion, Electricity, Magnetics, and Optics.

Precalculus

I have an extensive working knowledge of Calculus and Precalculus with extensive teaching / tutoring experience. I am an Adjunct Professor of Physics at Farmingdale State College. Additionally I can integrate calculus with trigonometry and geometry.

Trigonometry

As an Adjunct Professor in College Physics, I know that Trigonometry is used extensively to solve real world physics problems. I have that dual ability to teach the Mathematics and relate it to the physical problems.

Statistics

I have many years of statistics experience at the college course level as well as real-world test data collection and evaluation experience in multiple technology and business areas.
