Almost a savior for me. Always willing to go back if you have any that's not clear. Very warm and helpful tutor. A bit pricey yes but very well worth it. After seeing him for about twice as well as an online session we had, I scored a 90 on my Biometrics exam. However even after the first day I felt I made a big boost forward in my studies.

This is my second term working with John on Stats. I passed Stats 1 and I didn't think that was possible. I have two weeks left in Stats 2 and it looks good. I am so fortunate to have found John here at Wyzant. He is truly a God Send. He is patient,knowledgeable( what he does not know he will research it before going forward), he is personable and just a Good Person. He makes me feel comfortable no matter how dumb I may feel.

Of all the tutors I have found on WyzAnt John is by far the best teacher and the most knowledgeable. I used him both both Statistics and Excel, both of which he was very knowledgeable and proficient in his teaching methods. John works through the problems with you and any ambiguity he immediately looks up or will follow up for you. He is always around to help, and when the student or John is not available to meet we use a team viewer to share screens from remote locations to do the work even when not in the same location. He is the best tutor I have used on WyzAnt for his knowledge of subjects, teaching abilities, friendliness, and overall helpfulness.

With out John, I wouldn't have been able to get through my Statistics class. He turned an incredibly hard class into an easy one. From the first tutoring session I knew that he would be helpful. He helped me with every topic from homework to class problems. He didn't make me feel rushed or pressured to learn a topic. He took his time and was very patient, making sure I fully understood a topic before we moved on to a next one. He prepared in advance for my exams and made sure I knew every thing ahead of time leaving plenty of time in case I felt I wasn't ready. He helped prepare a quick study sheet before every exam which really helped. He's very knowledgeable in many programs such as excel and taught me easy ways to remember formulas and when to use them. He was very flexible with scheduling and made plenty of time for tutoring. He was available by email anytime I had a quick question. I would highly recommend John to anyone needing a fantastic tutor!
