Welcome to my WyzAnt profile, and thank you for your interest! Here I have the opportunity to give you a brief overview of my academic credentials, my experience tutoring and teaching, and my overall approach as a tutor.
I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2011 with a PhD degree in chemistry, and currently I am an adjunct faculty of a local college teaching undergraduate students chemistry. Back in Johns Hopkins, I served as a graduate teaching assistant for over three years.
Though I'm still relatively new to WyzAnt, I have been teaching and tutoring for over 5 years. My specialty is one-on-one subject tutoring, but I have also worked with small groups ranging from 2-3 students to large lecture classes of 50+ undergraduates. I have experience working with students of many ages, from high school students, to college students, to working professionals who have decided to return to school for their degree. My favorite subjects to tutor are chemistry and biochemistry (at any level), but I also enjoy helping students with freshman-level mathematics and certain biology topics. If you're in doubt as to whether I teach a certain subject, just ask!
